Isonat Plus

Isonat Plus is a natural insulation made in semi-rigid slabs from 55% wood fibre, 30% hemp and 15% polyester. It can be used in timber walls, floors, sloping ceilings and lofts.
The hemp is grown by farmers in the UK, processed in the UK then sent to France for manufacture (hopefully it will be manufactured in the UK in the future). Hemp is grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides and locks up carbon dioxide during growth. The recycled cotton fibres are sourced close to the factory.

As Isonat Plus is made from natural fibres it does not irritate the eyes, skin, or respiratory tract and so it is not necessary to use protective equipment when handling it. It has excellent sound damping properties due to the high density of the product.

Specification
Isonat Plus is authorised for use throughout the EU by the Centre Scientifique et Technique Du Batiment(CSTB) in France. Isonat Plus is treated with a fire retardant to provide a Euroclass E fire rating and conforms to the requirements of the Building Regulations. Thermal Conductivity 0.038 W/mK. Density 50 kg/m³.

Isonat Plus comes in slabs 1200mm long, 50/80/100/140mm thick and either 370mm or 570mm wide.
